lunacy proved to be a temptation almost equal to that of coffee when she suggested that it might be interesting to see a mid-flight kiss between Draco and Harry. "Madness!" I said aloud, but interesting, I thought soon after, and before you knew it I was hip deep in reference photos and forcing friends to sit on the edge of my couch so that I could sketch the curve of their legs.Needless to say, I didn't tell them what I was going to use it for. *g*

Oh, hell, yes, I will repeat myself....I simply adore how Draco is slightly higher than Harry, and how he's cupping Harry's cheek, and the fact that he has most obviously bypassed catching the Snitch to kiss Harry...clearly, far, far more important in Draco's mind...And I also love that Harry is poised to catch the Snitch, but is just so enraptured by being so sweetly kissed by Draco that he is making no such move, simply holding his hand in the air, and letting the Snitch fly into it if it wants to...
and am going now. honestly, I am...quietly, and without a large fuss...as long as I can keep looking at that gorgeous picture...

I like the movement in Harry's cloak, and the arch of Draco's neck.
I'm curious as to where Draco's other hand is. On Harry's broom? On Harry's arm? Someplace naughtier? ;)

I like the cloak, thank god it's done, and the arch of Draco's neck inspired it all... but the location of Draco's other hand will remain a closely guarded secret. Mainly because I don't know. *g* It was on the broom in front of Draco for a while, but I moved it to an undisclosed location for Draco's own safety. ;)

Ash~ First of all, the happiest of birthdays is yours, because you have discovered the secret of life, which is: to be content, you reach the plateau of being: the point you need not strive to go further, but may just BE, and enjoy every minute of it!!Noticed something about the Draco/Harry picture (besides the absolute lovely-ness of it, and the exceptional quality), is that Harry still caught the snitch, and Draco admitted defeat of himself for need of Harry. Oh! A sucombing of Slytherin Will (spelled that wrong), sounds like a fanfic!
Just a thought but did you ever receive that fanfic I sent you to read-over, I can't remember if I did or not?

God, just look how awesome you did Draco's hair... blond is so hard to nail, but you did it.
I love how Draco has caught Harry, and Harry has (practically) caught the snitch. Or perhaps this is a last ditch distraction tactic by Draco? :)
What an angle on Draco's head. Oh, go you! Look at that beautiful ear and neck muscle.
And how their brooms cut up the composition.
Am bit confused as to how Harry sits on his broom and what the shoulder/arm closest to us is doing, though. That might just be me, however--PCs have darker screens, so I might be missing some details.

That is so gorgeous that I can't stop staring at it. The blurriness of it and the colors, and the moment with Harry reaching for the Snitch and Draco cupping his face. It's too amazingfantasticbeautiful.

Their faces are so realistic -- and I love how you coloured Draco's cloak (a nice mix of different shades of green ^_^). I could go on and on, but I won't ^_^
Last question: what did you use (materials and stuff) make the picture? (is it photoshop or something?)

It's a combination of things, really. I sketched all the detailed stuff with pencil, the faces, the hands, the body positions, and so on. Then I scanned in all the pieces and re-assembled them in photoshop, where I colored them and added the background. It take a long time, but it's fun. :-D

Heh. Plu is really doing good things for me with that icon.The picture itself is a composite of sorts. I did a rough sketch of the whole drawing, did detailed pencil sketches of various parts of it (the faces, the hands, the cloaks), scanned them all in, re-assembled them on the rough sketch and then colored them in photoshop.
Simple, eh? *g*
There's a little more art available on my livejournal, though none in this particular style. (Although I like it, so expect more. Requests? ;) You can see the animated version of this picture there, too.
